WHAT IS YOUNG LIFE?
Young Life strive to create meaningful, mentoring relationships between leaders & teens – creating spaces where teens are listened to, and where questions of life and faith can be discussed. They’re about relationships; ones that start with meeting kids where they’re at. Staff and volunteers leave their adult “comfort zone” to meet teens on “their turf”. You will find Young Life leaders wherever kids are found… cheering in the stands at a hockey game, encouraging them in school activities, or hanging out at the nearest coffee shop or skate park.

WHO IS MARK PALMER?
Mark, now well established on the UK circuit since 2012, has spent the 12 years prior building up a reputation as one of South Africa’s most in demand comedians for three main reasons, being “Clean, classy and clever” (Cape Argus).
With a comedic voice heavily influenced by Jerry Seinfeld, Mark’s ability to blend a theme or topic with one of today’s funniest comedy routines is unparalleled. His smart, sometimes loud and often opinionated brand of comedy has made him an audience favourite wherever he performs. As Jerry Seinfeld said, “Funny is funny. Clean humour, if it’s good, works anywhere.” It doesn’t matter that Mark Palmer happens to be clean. He’s funny. And funny is the thing that matters when you’re watching a comedian. And having a comedian that is both clean and funny is a rare thing.
